Nice stretchy pjs to hide a multitude of wobble...

Just as the title suggests really.
Hubby and I are going on a little trip on the Caledonia sleeper. I want to get some new pjs for it because - although I don't plan to parade about in my nightwear - there is no en-suite and it will be my time of the month.

My current favourite pjs are worn to death and have holes in the knees so can anyone suggest some where to shop? Money is tight - young kids and one wage - but I can stretch to about £25 for an amazingly comfy pair that I can effectively live in during the day with the kids 😂

Sexiness, not a problem. I'll be on my period anyway and I want something that covers my post baby belly (bellies might be more apt) I can wear a bra underneath during the day (v neck is good because my boobs haven't been entirely trashed) and that is not in any way shape or form clingy to the tummy!

I'm a size 16 which is not where I want to be right now, so any miraculous nightwear would be very welcome!

I am a bigger person (18-20) and I absolutely SWEAR BY Primarks extensive pyjama range. I never buy Day clothes there due to being ill fitting but the pyjamas are perfect

Also have some really comfy pairs out of ASDA George

Morrisons- and only around £12 a pair

I'm really sensitive to fabrics , yet some styles of Morrisons ones are super cosy, soft and stretchy.
Definitely feel the fabrics in there first and you'll see what I mean.

@PawneeParksDept I've bought a few pairs of primary ones in the past but found they stop to low on my belly, I need something to smoosh that bad boy in!

Primark and Asda.

PawneeParksDept · 03/09/2018 21:22

It depends on the set, some of them I'm dragging the top, others perfect have you tried going up to XL?

CaviarAndCigarettes · 03/09/2018 21:23

@Processedpea oh yes! This is my idea of pjs!

Sainsbury’s had some nice ones in, pick n mix tops and bottoms. Nice sweatshirt tops to match also.

CaviarAndCigarettes · 03/09/2018 21:24

@PawneeParksDept I may need to. I never get to try stuff on because of the kids so then I buy stuff and never get round to returning it

I love Matalan pyjamas! Long floaty tops that cover my bum with legging type pants.

CaviarAndCigarettes · 03/09/2018 21:46

@Popsicales ooh they look good and we have a matalan nearby.
May see if hubs can hold the fort with the kids for a morning so I can try some stuff on

See if there’s any in the hush sale. I love their pjs but they’re pricey.

NonJeNeRegretteRien · 03/09/2018 21:49

Asda PJs!! They do nice matching robes too... i’m in love with mine!

4forkssake · 03/09/2018 22:24

I forgot to take me PJ bottoms on holiday with me (only remembered at the airport) so had to panic buy in next in duty free. They had limited choice in just bottoms but I ended up with these. I'm usually a 14 but they only had sizes 8/16 so I went for the 16. They're a generous fit & comfy & you could choose a t shirt to wear with them

I got lovely navy and white striped ones from next, look like track bottoms and sweat shirt - you can even answer the door in them !

AllAtHome · 03/09/2018 22:35

NEXT has some cashmere PJ/ lounge tops and bottoms (but not sure what the price might be)
