I'm only 24 weeks. I'm already huge and this is going to get worse.

Please help.

How can I help myself?!

ok, down on the floor on your hands and knees, knees shoulder width apart. Cross your ankles (ankle of the side that is hurting on the top) gently lean into the side that is hurting and hold for 10.
Switch ankles and lean into the other side for 10. repeat a couple of times. this is a stretch taught to me by my preganacy physio for the same problem. this eased my pain quickly
Get yourself refered to the physio who will give you a more personal regime. 😊 hope this helps. I remember the blinding pain very very well!

I had acupuncture for it when I was pregnant, it was an absolute life-saver.

lol rub helps my partner used to give me one every night and laying on my side helped control it although I know triggers are different for everyone

Swimming floating
Long pregnancy pillow for sleeping, stick it between knees and also hug it
Watch your posture, very easy to stick your bum out. One exercise it stand tall and push your pelvis forward slowly and then backwards repeat 10-20 times x3 times a day.

Right stretches, physio and acupuncture. I can do all of those, thank you.
The other suggestions I can't take on as easily, I'm 3 maternity pillows in and none of them help (sleeping is fine, it's sitting up that aggravates it). I can go swimming but I don't believe I will have the time to go enough to genuinely help this issue.

April when do you use the tens machine?
The pain isn't a constant feeling. It's sharp shooting pains which take my breath away. It comes and goes.
By the end of a long shift it's a constant shooting pain. When would best to use it?

You poor thing Flowers

Lie on the floor on your back with your legs resting on a sofa or a gym ball so that they’re bent at a 90 degree angle and let your pelvis and lower back kind of relax into the floor, don’t force it. Do it for about 5 minutes a few times a day and you may find it helps, it did help me a little bit.
