They are very good. I use the Loreal kit.
I tried to find something similar sold seperately, but couldnt find any.
Does anyone know if I can find?

Marking my place because I would love to know the same.

bluebell34567 · 30/08/2018 09:44

Anyonewhoknows I am not very hopeful about this :)

My gran saves them for me as she never uses them. I on the other hand love them. The closest texture I have found to it is Aussie Three Minute Miracle.

You used to be able to buy the mini tubes of red- brown- and blonde-enhancing conditioner separately from the L'Oréal kits, in bigger branches of Boots I think. I haven't looked for them in a while though.

BarbaraofSevillle · 30/08/2018 10:00

You want a deep conditioner.

bluebell34567 · 30/08/2018 10:01

thanks LadyPenelopeCantDance Flowers. do you think their ingredients are similar?

bluebell34567 · 30/08/2018 10:05

thanks BarbaraofSevillle Flowers. Aussie Three Minute Miracle is in there, too. I may give it a try.

You can buy the NicenEasy Clairol conditioners separately on ebay

IamReginaFalange · 30/08/2018 10:18

I have always wondered about this very question!
Also when hairdressers do the before and afters, like Guy Tang on Instagram how do the make hair that’s like straw (which they then add a load of bleach and colour to) suddenly all shiny? What product do they use?

bluebell34567 · 30/08/2018 10:18

thanks Branleuse Flowers, that looks very good, too.

I’ve found the little tubes of these in boots. Nice and easy brand.

They are excellent, and very convenient for the pool, and flights.
Nice fragrance too.

Putinka · 30/08/2018 10:32

IAmRegina Perhaps with products like Olaplex or Innoluxe? They're intended to be used as part of the process of dyeing/bleaching hair, as far as I know, and appear to give good results.

CookPassBabtridge · 30/08/2018 11:20

Great question, my hair is never better than just after dying it. I sometimes wonder if it's stuff in the dye though too as I used the conditioner at another random time and it wasn't as good as usual.

virtuousfantine · 30/08/2018 11:43

Redken all soft heavy cream is a good contender for me.

dailyshite · 30/08/2018 11:49

REF colour mask - you need to buy it online or from a hairdressers (and it's not cheap) but without exaggeration, it is amazing stuff.

You buy the one which matches your hair colour and put it on between wash and conditioner for 2-10 minutes once a week. Your hair will be in incredible condition and the colour stays for so long. I'm often asked if I have dyed my hair again and I haven't, it's all down to the conditioner.

It was recommended to me regularly by someone for about 6 months before I actually bought some and I can't believe I waited so long. (and no I'm not on commission!) That person had pinky coloured hair, hadn't coloured it for 6 months and you really wouldn't have known because it retained colour so well.

OnlyYou09 · 30/08/2018 11:54

They are filled HEAVILY with silicone to give you the soft sleek finish you love - it'll make you more inclined to purchase that particular hair dye again.

It is also to disguise and scaffold any damage from processing (the hair will l break eventually if there is any damage, once the silicone build up breaks down)

They are okay for odd use, but not daily.

Weightless shine effect sprays are often used on instagram

IncyWincyGrownUp · 30/08/2018 12:00

I’ve just had my hair done, and they used smartbond. My hair is feeling pretty funky.

I rarely condition though, I find it makes my hair look a bit naff if I do it more than once every ten days or so.

ChuChuUa · 30/08/2018 12:04

Placemarking. I loved the one in Vidal Sassoon Salonist.

babypsmum · 30/08/2018 12:04

The big hairdressers e.g Guy Tang use Olaplex.

OnlyYou09 · 30/08/2018 12:12

Olaplex isn't a conditioner, it works on the inside of the hair shaft limited damage during processing so you don't see the huge effect of it from the outside - it's other finishing products that do this.

I’m not sure but I realised last week that I’d been rubbing john Freida conditioner into my face at night for 2 weeks. In my defence, they are practically identical barely similar tubes.

I have dyed my hair for years but it’s never really occurred to me that they are anything but regular conditioner. What do salons use if you have a colour done?
