I can understand it in a single use room, like for a teen but I’d still want a lock on the door.

FlyingMonkeys · 30/08/2018 01:36

At pp you can see it as a teen who maybe potentially male and more potentially to piss on the floor? Awesome 😁

FlyingMonkeys · 30/08/2018 01:43

Bottom line I don't care how anyone wants to spin it, it's a shy of 300k house. You don't expect to piss on the equivalent of your bedroom floor. All the nay sayers 'yes I'd not have a problem', are talking out their fully walled en suite bums... I've got an outside loo opposite a coal shed. No fucker has took a shit in it for 30+yrs.

FlyingMonkeys · 30/08/2018 01:47

NM - ' Oh yes I frequently like to shit in the middle of my bedroom.. You are totally being unreasonable if you don't'.

MrsFrTedCrilly · 30/08/2018 01:52

That is magnificent, thanks OP I’ve had a shitty day and needed a laughGrin

Charolais · 30/08/2018 02:18

haha I can just imagine someone reclined in bed giving a come-hither look to the one taking a dump.

Charolais · 30/08/2018 02:20

....other than that it looks like a lovely house. Thanks for sharing the laugh.

Grasslands · 30/08/2018 02:30

I’ve sadly met people with neurological disease who were confined to one room and needed overhead hoist installations and toilets in the room.
For me it’s all about location, walls etc can all be changed.

Oliversmumsarmy · 30/08/2018 02:30

Do you think they were going for the roll top bath in the bedroom type look but either missed the point or got a bit carried away and went for the whole bathroom

Vitalogy · 30/08/2018 02:40

How peculiar. I'm not sure if I'm more freaked out by the toilet in the bedroom or the fact the toilet area is carpeted Confused

Apart from that lovely house.

Wow. You get a lot for your money in Lampeter.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 30/08/2018 07:05

Apart from that bedroom.its a lovely house and so cheap.

I suspect the weird "open plan en suite" has to do with the fact that its listed so you can't just put up new walls etc. If I were buyimg it I'd rip out the en suite and turn the "child's bedroom" into a shower room.

HPLikecraft · 30/08/2018 08:54

the dirty bastards

Charming. Hmm
I presume this "open en suite" - which I also don't fancy much - is for the convenience of an elderly/ill/disabled person.

Collywobbles1984 · 30/08/2018 09:14

I'm disappointed, thought I was going to see a full on sex chamber! Apart from the en-suite though, you get a lot for your money in Wales don't you?! Could barely buy a sturdy cardboard box for that price here in Essex!

Vitalogy · 30/08/2018 09:19

I mean, just because there's a double bed in the room doesn't mean there's not a single person sleeping in there... hopefully anywayConfused

DeloresJaneUmbridge · 30/08/2018 09:19

It’s a step up from what my ancient Gran had back in the seventies. When I stayed over in her freezing cold old house over winter I stayed in a camp bed in her room. To save either of us having to brave the very cold hallway to the loo she produced a bucket for me....and she had one too Grin,

As a child I just accepted it.

As a 50 yr old now I am all ewwwwwwwwwww!

keepingbees · 30/08/2018 09:27

I'm not sure that little wall offers much privacy Grin

maerd · 30/08/2018 09:29

What a lovely house. I can’t get worked up about the toilet in the bedroom. We live in an old house which has a loo in what is basically a cupboard in the bedroom, with no space for a sink or anything else, and that is essentially like weeing in the same room as your husband sleeping. But when you’re heavily pregnant in winter and the other option is to walk downstairs through to the back of the house where the ‘proper’ (poorly insulated) bathroom is, seems easier just to use the cupboard! Saying that, we also have a loo in the shed which we both use on occasion if we want a poo in peace Grin

Vitalogy · 30/08/2018 09:31

I'm not sure that little wall offers much privacy Maybe it's just to stop the initial shock factor when someone first enters the room Grin

Fairylea · 30/08/2018 09:31

I would imagine for a disabled or more elderly person this would be perfect.

Imagine if the toilet blocked and overflowed. Or your OH woke in the middle of the night to do a shit and those were the sounds/smell you woke up to 🤢. Gross.

Weird fuscia bedroom with minions and gnomes too.

StarfishSandwich · 30/08/2018 09:57

Would make my heavily pregnant 4 times per night wee habit a lot easier!

WhatchaMaCalllit · 30/08/2018 10:23

Is the bedroom in the bathroom or is the bathroom in the bedroom? Too confusing....next!
