What amazing thing can we do in London for a 9yr old? I've messed up birthday

We were supposed to take ds to Harry Potter experience for his birthday. I cocked up the booking and now it's fully booked. We are still going to stay near London for the weekend, but would like to make it up to him with something amazing.

We will still go to the HP experience when we can get tickets in future.

I wouldn't probably make a special trip, but if you can happen to be just passing this place, and pop-in, it'll be a lovely surprise - it's an old house, and there are five floors of HP themed art/displays - the place is owned by the guys who designed all the paper artwork for HP - e.g. posters; tickets; marauders map etc. Lots of fun and much cheaper prices that HP world!! store.minalima.com

That’s reminded me of this - These guys make movie replicas for all the HP and LoTR stuff and are off of Seven Dials - walkable from Matilda. They have signed items by all the cast as well I remember.

To eat, inamo. Several all around London, soho, Covent Garden. He can set his own ambient for the table via sort of table top being lap top thing. He can play games order food.... You can also give them pictures of him and have them flashed up on table..

Definitely keep checking the website for HP Studio tickets. We've been 3 times and each time it was fully booked on the dates we wanted, but we kept checking (several times a day) and each time my husband got 3 tickets whilst checking in the early hours of the morning (insomniac!). Each time have been great time slots too.

Thank you so much, I got tickets this morning for next Saturday! Never thought to keep checking once they said sold out. Ds will be over the moon!
