Sainsbury's Lego Collectable Cards/swaps/requests

The only time we shop at Sainsbury's!

Anyone else collecting? We had an awesome swap thread last year so thought I'd start one again ready for the influx.

Also, if anyone has packs they're not going to use and would be willing to send on, I'm more than happy to pay postage and packing. DS is a Lego obsessive.

I got 7 packs in my online shop. Ds is only 3, too young? I haven't opened them, I assume I get a book from Sainsbury?

@Nottalotta, if you want to collect them you can buy the books at Sainsbury's and you'll two additional packs free.

The books cost £2.50, but you also get 2x 4-packs (cost 50p each) free (don't forget to ask at the check-out)

I was given 5 packs with mine. I suppose not everyone takes them, so they have spares!

We’ve just started and got given a stack as other people hadn’t wanted theirs (being the last online delivery last year had that effect...may have to try it again). DM and DSis are psyched up to get them if they’re in Sainsbury’s. Two books to fill instead of one this year so maybe on here looking and will definitely be able to proffer duplicates!

They are great for all ages. DS is 6 and we get quite a lot of maths from them - number recognition, putting them in order and the 4 times table as he likes to work out how many cards he has in total from each shop Grin

We started today. Ds was estatic as the lady in front gave him her packets, we got them for our shop and the bonus ones for the book and the cashier chucked in a few extra seeing him jump up and down. We ended up with 18 packets! Ds has had a lot of fun sorting them out into the book this afternoon. I think we'll be up for some swaps soon once ds has had a bit more chance to fill up the book.
Don't think a 3 year old is too young at all. Ds and his nursery friends were all 3 last summer and were absolutely obsessed! I would try him!

DP is out doing the weekly big shop. Undoubtedly, the DC will be up bright and early in the morning to see how many packs he came back with. It’s good they’re asleep or they’d be lying in wait in the hallway, waiting for the sound of the key in the door Grin

Paddingtonbearhardstare if you ring up customer services they will get the store to poat them to you. You need to ask the driver when you get your shop. We were lucky and got 15 packs this morning from ours. Over halfway through now will look into what doubles ds has although he seems to be hoarding them

DS and DN have been very busy so far with cards and as a result have a lot of spares between them.

We have:
7, 8, 11, 18, 31, 48, 55, 59, 68, 69, 70, 73, 83, 86, 90, 95, 97, 100, 107, 109, 112, 128, 129, 132. (x3 of some of these)

@ashen / @mibby do you need any of these as you both have some the boys need?
