Mentally planning a trip to Efteling - help!

Our twins are two in a couple of weeks. We haven’t been on holiday yet. I’d love to go to Efteling before they turn 4 as they’re free until then, so any time between now and September 2020. It will be me, DH and hopefully Dsis and BIL.

Give me your tips - time of year? Accommodation? Should we wait until they’re nearly 4 because they won’t enjoy much until then, or would there be enough for them to enjoy when they’re 2.5?

Would love some ideas :)

Literally no help to you Op, but we’re also looking at Efteling so I’m just going to lurk here and see what gets posted 😄

Op search past posts on efteling in here. There are loads.

Can you afford lovely lake side house?
They have specific arrangements for the different accommodation.
Personally I would go for Lake House in bosricjk. Pool, play areas. If you you stay in loonsche the acxmd is v nice but no pool access.
I prefer summer for the longer hours and more entertainment.

I first took dd at 2 nealry 3. There was tons for her to do, far far more than Disney. More play areas, the wood is amazing for that age.
3 nights was great, 4 would be fine too.
Personally I'd take it them now and then go again Grin it's what we did! July and August are the months we're Friday and Saturday have longer hours.

I’d wait until they’re over three so they really get what’s going on. Read all the traditional tales to them so they recognise the fairy tale scenes as mine loved that area the most.

We stayed at Center Parcs nearby and had a great holiday.

tiger great for 10.
They have lots of theme park rides, adults teens etc all love it too.

It's not solely geared for small dc it's just compared to places like dlp there is so much more to do there for them

If we love it we would definitely go again when they’re older - just thought it might be a good first holiday as it should be well set up for kids. The thought of taking them anywhere at the moment is so stressful!

I’m taking my 5yo in October, staying 4 nights in Bosrijk. I’ll report back with findings if you like!

Op, it's why we went back 3 times when youngest was nearly 3 to nealry 5.
Because it was so easy. Relaxed, so many areas to chill, play areas. Mine loved the old cars to drive, the whale ride, maze, strange sort of world ride thing indoors at top of theme park and the ultimate faves, symbolica and dream flight.

I was so frustrated on Disney Paris Peter pan after the dream flight.

girl your lucky dd is all I can say.
I'm so glad I discovered this place when dc young and now it's woven into their childhood.

I would have been gutted to find it later on, although it's good for all ages, it's just amazing for young dc.

Ooh yes please Girl

Just need to figure out time of year (outside of school holidays obviously!)
