How can I make baked beans more interesting?

I’m doing a lazy dinner tonight (husband only just finishing work) and the vegetable portion is going to be baked beans. Problem is I don’t really like them - I had some barbecue beans whilst we were on holiday that were quite nice and wondering if I can add anything from my store cupboard to liven these normal ones up a bit.

Stir in a little mustard.

Ohyesiam I am doing a quick chick in the oven to heat stuff up dinner and adding a can of beans to make it seem a bit healthier - I thought they counted as one of your 5 a day but I’m going to check as I’m not sure now! I meant the ‘vegetable portion’ comment humorously 😊
