Urgent doctor in London for non UK person?

My girlfriend is visiting from abroad and has taken very ill this morning - where should we go for medical help that we can pay for as she's not from the UK?

Are there emergency non NHS clinics for tourists for gp stuff? The only private doctors I know of are consultants for specialist things?

Thanks. We did call her insurance, who said to go ahead with a private appointment with any doctor. Went to a decent place in the City, very thorough, didn't have to wait and they were nice people to deal with.

Tentatively - all seems to be ok, just a simple bug and nothing more sinister, though of course they are very wearing and awful to endure.

But she's sleeping now and can now drink water
