Where can I buy the thinnest, cheapest towels?

Asda used to do a super value towel range that was v cheap and the towels very thin. They don't do it any more.

I want a thin, scratchy towel because that's what I prefer for taking to the gym! I can only find soft, thick fluffy towels, even in primark.

I can sell you mine if you like, my mum bought them in the early 90's and they are certainly thin and scratchy. added embellishment from 20 years of hair dye Wink

IKEA Frajen towels are thin and after a couple of washes in hard water they are scratchy as long as you don't tumble dry them.

Hammam are ace. I bought some a couple of years ago in Tesco of all places. Perfect for the beach, swimming, holidays etc. Love them. I’m going to gradually replace all our towels with them.

I got mine from Wilko, I hate thick towels and these have the lowest thread count I could find www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-functional-bath-towel-white/p/0307658

Hammam towel for sure - I got one from tk
Max to take on holiday.

It fit in my bag with no trouble & I used it to lie on the beach, as a towel after sea and showers and to just sit on for benches etc as well as a wrap. I'd just grab it every day & shove it in my bag in case it came in handy as it was so light, love it.
