Sickness bug every 2 weeks

My DC has a violent sickness bug every couple of weeks, last one was not even 2 weeks ago and the one before that was only last month. They're quite frequent. He'll start by being sick 4/5 times in the space of 2 mins and usually all the food is gone but 20/30 mins later he's doing the same this time it's usually small amounts of foamy stuff. 3 or 4 hours of this and then he's completely fine and as if nothing happened. I'm pretty certain it isn't food related. No temp throughout. Seems like an over reaction to go to the doctors for a bug but I'm concerned at how frequent they are. Should I speak to the docs? Anyone else had recurring sickness like this?

Whether he/she is a baby/toddler/child I would definitely get them to the doctors or see the doctor yourself or speak to doctor over the phone and explain and see if you can get some advice.
I saw a baby today projectile sick up at a group whilst other kids were eating next to them. Apparently it’s normal for him to do that 😮. The one thing I didn’t like is that the mum didn’t take the child home (if it was a sickness bug then nearly ten kids including my own and same amount of adults could potentially all have that sickness bug 🤢)

cheesenacho my dd projectile vomited every day until she was 2.5. It was easy to tell if it was a bug rather than her usual. I know it’s not a nice thing to see but honestly if I’d went home every time I’d never have seen anyone!

OP google cyclical vomiting.

Thank you @thaegumathteth, I just had a read on the nhs website and does sound plausible. I've never heard of it. I'll call the doctors surgery tomorrow.
