If a cleaning company quotes for an end of lease clean and says £16.95 per hour per person, the "person" refers to cleaners not tenants, doesn't it? Tell me I'm right, please!

Yes definitely refers to the cleaners!

Singlenotsingle · 18/08/2018 16:40

Yes of course.

rainbowstardrops · 18/08/2018 16:46

Well I would have assumed per cleaner

SoyDora · 18/08/2018 16:48

Yes, per cleaner. Obviously it will take one person longer to do it than 2 people, so they charge per person.

SneakyGremlins · 18/08/2018 16:49

Cleaner, obviously Confused

flyingsaucersherbet · 18/08/2018 16:49

I own a cleaning company - def per number of cleaners :)

BertrandRussell · 18/08/2018 16:50

Thank you! I knew it was-but dd was so definite, as only the young can be. And she has managed to convince her flat mates-one of them a lawyer!- that it means per tenant.....

Yes obviously cleaners.

Who says otherwise?!

BertrandRussell · 18/08/2018 17:02

Her flatmates are now standing down their mothers who they were begging for help because dd had convinced them the company was going to charge them over £300 to clean their flat!
