DCat has fallen asleep on me for the first time in ages. It's very sweet but I need the loo.
How long do I give her?

You need to invest in a she- wee!!

SylvesterTheCat · 18/08/2018 11:01

Ha! I didn't know what to expect when opening this post but it certainly made me smile. Good luck!!!

Sorry but you are now cat sofa. You do not move until the cat deems you have reached max usefulness and gets off.

Obviously you can’t move till the cat moves. I “wasted” DD’s entire nap time yesterday because the cat wanted to sleep on me. 😻

TheSassyAssassin · 18/08/2018 11:06

Is it possible to kinda scoop her whilst doing a limbo backwards out of the room to the bathroom? Then straddle and kinda aim in the right direction and then limbo back again, all without essentially disturbing DCat? Oh and get someone to get a pic of the backwards limbo for the thread posterity! Grin Bless DCat. Think you'll know when your bladder has reached the point of no return!

Is there nobody else in the house who can shake a bag of dreamies, open the fridge door or use a tin opener?

Minniemountain · 18/08/2018 12:12

Sorry, I got distracted.
I dared to make a slight adjustment with my leg and she hopped off.
I fear I'm in trouble now Grin

Oh you are in sooo much trouble! My two cats are sleeping either side of me, both pressed up to me. My knee itches, my toes are cramping up and my back aches. But I know that I am slave and must stay positioned so they have optimum sleep or suffer the consequences

Aprilshowersinaugust · 18/08/2018 17:40

Op your dcat had gone to poo on your bed.
Grin

Minniemountain · 18/08/2018 17:44

So far she has done moving behind my back to be stroked and batting at me from a 6ft high wall. Standard behaviour, so I must be forgiven Grin

Never disturb a sleeping cat! Shock

Hope you've got a goodly supply of dreamies to assuage the poor feline's feelings! Watch out in the night, too. She'll be on the darkest step just waiting for you to pass unsuspectingly. Grin
