What's your super weird snack?

Just got back from the supermarket with a little treat for myself, that the rest of my family think is disgusting, vinegar marinated anchovies.

I sneak to the fridge to have one whenever I've got them in the house.

My mum was always partial to a toasted peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich when she was alive as well.

What's your most adored snack that people would think you're bonkers to eat?

Cheesy chips with mayo and ketchup. I don't think it's weird. My DP does though.

Or I'll take out a couple slice of ham, mayo in the middle and wrap it up, eat. Yum!. I may have a slight obsession with mayo.

ImAGoofyGoober · 16/08/2018 15:16

Not too weird but my family think it is. I like to chop a red onion and soak it in red wine vinegar. Delightfully tangy!

Bacon, Philadelphia cheese and raspberry jam sandwich! Bread must be toasted...

Raw mushrooms dipped into mint sauce.

This is a v Northern Irish thing but white bread, loads of butter, cheddar cheese and Tayto (must be Tayto!) cheese and onion crisps. Probably lots of Irish MNetters would agree with that one Grin

TheFrenchLieutenantsMonkey · 16/08/2018 15:29

Cold toast, butter, mint sauce.

Agentornika · 16/08/2018 15:56

Ready salted Chipsticks dunked in Nutella was my go to weird snack but I can't for the life of me find ready salted Chipsticks anywhere now.

A friend of mine eats an apple with an oxo cube. She takes a bite of the apple then rubs the cube on the inner juicy bit.

zeebeedee · 16/08/2018 16:35

marmite and lemon curd sandwich, or

peanut butter and lettuce sandwich

SoHairyAndForeverSpartacus · 16/08/2018 16:35

Bovril and mint sauce on toast.
Any leftover crisps I don't like the flavour of (meaty ones or cheese and onion usually) get eaten crushed in the bag, slathered with Worcestershire sauce. Spoon is usually required.
