ADVICE NEEDED I REALLY WANT A BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi,

so for the past couple months i have been desperet to have a baby i had a miscarriage back in april which was an unplanned pregnancy, and ever since i have really wanted a baby, im 22 in currently in university my partner and i have been together 2 and a half years and i know he doesnt want a child yet and apart of me really wants to wait as well because i want to finish my degree, and travel and stuff but i just cant get it out of my head that i want a baby, my bestest friend is currently 8 months pregnant and im just so jealous seeing her getting ready to have a baby!! and even though i know things wont be easy for her as shes a young mum i cant help just to feel envious of it! i guess i just want some advice and to be talked out of wanting a baby:(

I'm so sorry for your loss It's such a hard thing to go through and what you're feeling is completely normal; it's natural to think about what could have been. It must be so difficult watching your friend prepare for her new baby.

I think it's a really positive thing that you recognise this isn't the best time for you to have a child. If I were you, I'd take the opportunity to get myself into a good position to have a baby in the future: I'd finish my education, get a job and save a bit of money, enjoy my freedom a bit, and then have a baby when the time was right.

In the meantime, do give yourself the space and time you need to grieve your loss. Wishing you all the very best xx

Katie your grieving for that lost baby and it’s perfectly natural to want to try again.

Just finish your degree so that when your sorted you can give your baby (when you have one) an amazing future. Babies cost a lot!!
