I have NO money, other than fuel for the car/parking costs and maybe like £5 per head.

I have a child with autism so can't be too crowded/noisy or somewhere I can easily lose him. He does get DLA so I can get in some places as his Carer which keeps the cost down for us.

I plan to visit Cosford Museum, and might his the early morning session at jungleland one of the days but i'm stumped on other places we can go.

I've not been but a look on Google says that Telford town park is very nice. Not sure how busy it would be but it looks quite big so you should find a quiet spot for you and your son.Hope you both have a lovely time.

Autism West Midlands cover the Shropshire area so they may have day trips or holiday activities you could access.

The town park is fab and really big so you can easily get away from the crowded areas. Going first thing in the morning is usually quiet.

Wonderland is fab but can get quite busy so early morning is probably better too.

They do a kids club at Odeon where they show older films (Coco tomorrow) for a couple of pounds and carers get in for free. They’ve only got posh reclining seats now so much more room and less people per screen.

Enginuity in Ironbridge is fab for young kids and not too pricy.

The Exotic Zoo at the Priorslee garden centre is worth a trip round. That’s fairly cheap and you’ve a good chance of getting hands on with the animals, I cuddled a skunk last time Grin. Pop to the farm shop next door on your way out for a browse and maybe a posh sausage roll.

Haughmond Hill near Shrewsbury has the Gruffalo trail and you only pay for parking. Nice walk in the woods.

I saw something on Facebook about them opening a special autism friendly garden space in one of the multi story car parks (House of Fraser one I think)?

These are just off the top of my head. I know they won’t all be suitable but hopefully one or two will Smile.
