Minehead in the rain what can we do that won't break the bank or be hours Driving..

Short visit and got drenched rock pooling today.

Would Dunster castle be suitable for a few hours inside? Sometimes nt are a bit boring inside and dc race through in minuets...

So glad you had a great day out. IMO that’s a perfect day. The periwinkle tea rooms is iconic and their food is amazing. I hope it didn’t rain for you.

Dunster is normally interesting for children because of all the different paths and the views are spectacular. Quite a lot of walking to tire legs out and only 10mins drove to periwinkle.

P.S. If you think the toll road is bad, I don’t recommend you take the Hill road. That’s steeper and faster.

I cycle the toll road and DH does the Hill road. It’s madness.

Yes it was such a lovely day and only smattering of rain yy re Hill Road, I couldn't belive the toll was the easy option 😱😱😬😂😂.

I love the views from the toll road, was a bit concerning in the snow though.
