Ok guys...nice or not? Me & my mum love them - my husband & 16yr daughter think they're too old for me! (Im 46 and usually a mostly Primark/supermarket type clothes/shoes shopper). Help!

They remind me of those foot brace things used for correcting bunions. Sorry.

TheFaerieQueene · 05/08/2018 21:44

Not v nice at all. Sorry.

tigercub50 · 05/08/2018 21:45

Not keen plus they are overpriced

I'm 47 OP and I'd wear them happily Grin.

My only wish these days is for comfort.

Peanutbuttercups21 · 05/08/2018 21:54

They are ugly-cool

Which is fine!

Fabricwitch · 05/08/2018 22:08

I don't like them. And find M&S shoes uncomfortable. So it would be a pass from me

butlerswharf · 05/08/2018 22:12

I think they're a bit middle aged safe to be honest.

adoggymama · 05/08/2018 22:13

Naaaat a fan! Sorry Grin

DoorbellsSleighbellsSchnitzel · 05/08/2018 22:47

Not keen. I think it's the curve on the buckle - they might be nicer with a squarer or more angular buckle...

ShirleyPhallus · 05/08/2018 22:49

Eminybob has it in one

umizoomi · 05/08/2018 23:43

They are a bit heavy looking - next have nicer ones

Although I agree with PP -comfort is everything. I had bunion surgery 3 months ago and bought some m&s sandals. I have lived in them Smile

Skittlesandbeer · 06/08/2018 00:04

I wouldn’t wear both clumpy and dark (against my light skin) sandals. I feel it’s a heavy look, that’d make my legs look unnecessarily stumpy.

I do know women who can carry these off, but I’m not one of them. They’d prolly wear them with floaty linen and have beautiful slim pedicured feet!!

I try to stick with lighter coloured leather and slim strap designs, to draw less attention to my 46yo ‘comfort’ shoes!

JuliaAL · 06/08/2018 07:10

Thanks all.
I'm still confused tho...
Peanutbuttercups21 - I love that Grin.
tigercub50 - I agree they are overpriced - part of my dilemma I guess.
Skittlesandbeer - I have slim tanned feet so I might be one of those women Grin.
umizoomi - will def have a look at Next too

www.moshulu.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/145/s/wilma-2-toe-post-cork-footbed-sandals/category/9/?color=21 what about these? Comfiest sandal I've ever owned

Branleuse · 06/08/2018 07:25

I quite like them

FeistyOldBat · 06/08/2018 07:40

No, sorry. Not nice at all. Try some of these. I have Bolinas in three different colours and Amber in two... thank you, lottery!

They're really comfortable. I have very wide feet and the ones made for wide feet fit me.

ShopoholicIn · 06/08/2018 15:53

What Eminybob said... It's a no no

WhoKnowsWereTheTimeG0es · 06/08/2018 15:58

I'm with Eminybob and I'm a Birkenstock wearer so in favour of comfort, wouldn't wear these.

StealthNinjaMum · 08/08/2018 17:14

I like Fitflops (thanks to another mumsnet thread). They have a sale on at the moment (although they seem to always have sales on) and have some lovely sandals. I'm wearing some lovely sparkly ones now but they did cost £52.
