Child being hit and made fun of

So a few years ago we(dh me + 4 dc. All girls) moved into a small area. About 6 months after dc2 starts getting hit at school, we are in and out of school to resolve this.

A few months later another boy who is two years older starts hitting dc2 ending in him punching her in the eye causing a swollen under eye, again we are speaking with school and seems to have got better with this child.

Things were then quiet for a while until recently, dc2 tells me we are being made fun of. I would rather not say what for as I have found the comments very upsetting and embarrassing. Then yesterday dc1,2+3 (10,8+6yo)are at the park playing with a friend, dc1 comes home saying they have (dc1+2) have just been slapped in the face by one of the boys playing there. If it matters the boys doing this are between 10 and 12.

It just never seems to end.
So dh has had enough and been onto the non emergency police phone line. He had a pcso call him back and has arranged to go into the school tomorrow to have a talk.

I just don’t know if this is the right thing to do or not. Will it make things worse.

So what would you do in this situation.

Presumably the pcso is going to give a general talk? Personally I'd have them talk to the lads. That will scare the shit out of them and they wouldn't do it again! Poor girls.

If they did that as an adult it would be assult just cause their kids doesn't excuse it at their age they know better, it's time to come down hard, not sure what you've done previously.
You must be livid, I would have to talk myself down from going and visiting them not that an adult assult a child would help/ be right!
I'd be pushing for an investigation/charges they had their chances with the previous interventions from school.
Sorry to scare you but what happens when these boys start to get sexual urges and your DD are around, they clearly have no boundaries?
If the police can't help maybe a solicitor can offer a civil solution?

Well the slap incident I wanted to go to the parents door but none of mine know where he lives.

babybrainThe pcso is coming to our home in the morning to speak first before going round to the school.

Dd2 has put up with so much since moving here. It feels like we have done this to her by moving here.

sickof that is my thoughts exactly and I worry as the kids get bigger what is going to happen next.

I wouldn't allow a 6 year old out to the park without an adult.
In school? School deals with it.
Out of school? Be with your kids and deal with any issues.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 10/06/2018 23:18

I would let any of those kids go to the park unattended. 10 is still very young.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 10/06/2018 23:25

*wouldn't

I'm presuming the boys who attacked your DC at the park are the same boys from school? Is it possible that all the bullying stems from the reason you're being made fun of? Imo once a family has a "reputation" the mean kids will never let it go and will bully all of the kids from that family. For that reason one of my neighbours moved her kids to a different school further away from home where nobody knew them outside of school.
