Chicken pox

DD (3) had chicken pox during the end of half term. I kept her off last week as she was still a bit itchy and tired. She does nursery monday-wednesday at preschool.
Prior to half term 13 of the 26 kids in nursery/ reception class had had chicken pox this year. Her teacher is pregnant at the moment so being cautious.
I've just spotted a blister on DS (6 months). It's only one on his chest, but in all likelihood its got to be chicken pox, right? And its only going to get worse over the next 24-48 hours.
So my WWYD is this: DD is due back at school tomorrow. I always take her and pick her up as DP starts work at 7 and finishes at 5 so is unable to help out.
My DM also works through the school run hours so is also unable to take her. The inlaws are on holiday this week. So I have no one able to take her and drop her off/ pick her up and will have to take a contagious DS on the school run.
Do I keep her off? Do I just take her anyway? Not really sure what to do to be honest so ideas are welcome! Smile

at 3yo a lot of people just wouldn't bother going for the week, it's not likes school.

School age, Most people I know would do something like put the baby under a raincover in crowded places & crack on as usual. If you don't like that, could ask another parent to bring her out to a streetside position?

Could prove quite tricky as the classroom is down a flight of stairs and i don't really know ant other parents that well as she only started a short time ago.

Do you walk or drive? If drive, could you ring the nursery and explain, park as close to ge building as you can and have someone come out and meet your DD so you can leave DS in the car?

That may be a good idea! There's a small staff car park close to the entrance so if someone could come out they wouldn't have to come far to collect her. Thanks @crackingcheesegromit

I’d ask a fellow mum to take her in

I had two DC with chicken pox in May, DS brought it from nursery, DD caught it 2 weeks after his first spot. The whole of May was just spots and Piriton and oatmeal baths! Hope your DS doesn’t get it too badly, the worst thing about it is the not being able to go out until they’re scabbed!

Drive and just ask someone to meet you there and take her to gate
