hi im 21 with 2 DC, after high school i didnt do anything as i got married at 16 and strted a family. i got a couple of gcse but nothing major. i am a SAHM and my youngest is now 2. i dont want to be a sahm forever.. im really interested in starting a mini buisness, a few extra pound, work from home - maybe the odd driving around, and not living off benefits!! i hate the 'paint' everyone has stuck on me, 'oh shell never do nothing have 647383 kids on benefits' i dont regret my 2dc a tiny bit, but now a bit of time for me.
I was thinking buying spanish baby clothes-i know where to get them cheap, and selling them. Only a small problem-i have no savings.. id need roughly £2000 to get started (buy stock) - wwyd? anyone know where i can get a small buisness loan? i havent had credit so i have bad creditHmm

I expect you are too young to remember Tupperware and Pippa Dee parties, but I think this might be the way to go. People would advertise in local shops and mums would host the party in their own home. They provided refreshments and the got a small Commission, payable in goods on how much they sold.

I would start with just a few samples so that people could feel the quality and see the goods. If you can show the website for other ranges The cash Was taken up front and a full refund was given if the customer changed their mind.

You deffo need to get on Instagram asap. This is where new brands can quickly gain a following for pretty much zero spend.

When I say dodgy iPhone pics, I mean pics of the clothes in bad light, with irrelevant things in the background, basically iPhone images that look amateurish.

Follow these guys, they do the dressy kids clothing really well. Their instagrams look aspirational.

As well as contacting Princes Trust, have a word with your benefits adviser. There use to be a scheme that supported those wanting to start own business rather than going into employment. I think it was called enterprise allowance. Also try your local authority. Ours offers a free course on business start up and help writing your business plan.
