And what would you wear it with?

I am a 12 so not skinny like the model!

If it’s not in TedBaker try House of Fraser online

Envy not ency

AwkwardSquad · 18/04/2018 19:22

Don’t think I could get away with it, but I like it.

Thatsalritehun · 18/04/2018 19:31

I really like it and think the model looks great. But there’s no way it would work for me; the colour would look awful on me and anyone who was less than model-thin would look grim. I’d still be interested to try it on though because it’s unusual (but I know it would look awful).

Tattybogle89 · 19/04/2018 03:41

Awful

CircleofWillis · 19/04/2018 07:02

So glad you’ve tried it on. I love it! I’m short with big boobs but I’m going to try one this weekend too.

BaddumTsss · 19/04/2018 20:45

Like the style, but the colours are just awful. But glad you like it OP.

MissCherryCakeyBun · 19/04/2018 21:04

You will have to sit like a broken marionette when you wear it thoWinkConfused

OdileDeCaray · 20/04/2018 08:57

My daughter didn't get me one as she didn't go in M&S on her shopping trip!

NoItsShit · 21/04/2018 08:47

Nice dress. Love the contrasting stripe on the side. I'd take it a couple of inches up though so it sits just beneath my knee.

LanaorAna2 · 21/04/2018 20:45
  1. The stripe will make you look thinner if you size up to make it hang absolutely straight.
  1. White sneakers won't work as you'll look like a pasty whiteout, so go bright or dark on the flats.
  1. Lose the jewellery , there's too much going on to accessorise.

The length is good - midcalf is a very un-dowdy length, contrary to what one might think. And flattering.

user1495490253 · 25/04/2018 14:30

I really love it! I'd wear it with ankle strap black heeled pumps and a leather biker jacket.

StellaWouldYouTakeMeHome · 28/04/2018 18:25

👎🏻 Looks it’s from a bad period drama

DialsMavis · 28/04/2018 18:29

I really like it & don't buy anything from M & S...

SleightOfMind · 28/04/2018 22:34

I like it too but wouldn’t wear it.

Lovely if you’re boyish, beyond frumpy with boobs & bum sadly.

HLBug · 28/04/2018 22:47

OP I like it. Can we get a shot of you wearing it to see what it looks like on a non-model?

Donotbequotingmeinbold · 28/04/2018 22:58

I love it too!

HideMee · 28/04/2018 23:07

Hate the stripe! Hate! Shame because without it I really like the dress. What are their design people thinking.

Coralcolouredchrome · 03/05/2018 18:40

I like it, but I think you would need to be as flat as a pancake all over.

littlepill · 03/05/2018 18:45

Not those shoes!

I quite like it but not keen on the orange stripe. Would prob wear with black chunky heels, sort of 1940s style court shoes. Hair up, costume style, you know? Rather than scruffed down, like the model.

DoorbellsSleighbellsSchnitzel · 05/08/2018 21:55

I actually love this dress, and I'm short, booby and far from skinny! Despite all of these factors I found it flattering... Wore it for the first time this week and had lots of compliments 😊

AmabelleOnabike · 08/08/2018 17:21

I was waiting on a tram last week (Ranelagh Luas stop in case it was you!) And there was a woman wearing this dress next to me. Having read this thread I almost blurted out: oh it looks so much nicer in reality! It really did, so I hope you get many compliments OP.
