Dyed fingers/thumbs from Burnt christmas pudding - help!

I burnt the 1 person Tesco christmas pudding (for DH) in the microwave on christmas day and in getting it out I managed to get it over several fingers, thumbs and part of my hand. Which are all now a lovely ginger brown stained colour!
I have tried the normal liquid soap, washing up liquid and nail polisher remover to no avail. Any other ideas?

Lemon juice?

I can try and encourage DH to have salmon/lemon for lunch and use the remains on the fingers. Will report back on any success.
Or actually may have old shrove tuesday jiff lemon in fridge - will check now.

Ok tried lemon juice and no dice. Fingers as ginger as ever. Other ideas welcome. That I can find at home, in christmas limbo, without a special trip to the shops.

Maybe try bicarbonate of soda and vinegar mixed together. It gets tarnished silver looking like new so might be worth a shot. You will smell like a chip shop and you'll probably need to slather on some hand cream as it will probably dry your skin.

Ok I have my next task after supper - bicarb/vinegar fingers. I may just have to wait the week or so for nature to wear it off at this rate. Confused

Nope. Slightly lighter colour ginger but still there is all it's glory. Anything I could get sent via Amazon/online?
