Already been refunded, company not asking for 200 quid item back... What would you do?

Just wondering what you would do...
We bought a trampoline online for 200 quid which the measurements on description implied would fit the space we had for it in in the garden. But when we put it up it didn't fit! Was a few cm too big,and bigger than the description (I have photos to show this).
So we asked for a refund (it was an amazon marketplace seller) and they refused and said we were lying (and were really rude about it). They said they would no way ever accept the thing back. We then did the a to Z Amazon review thing and amazon has now forced them to refund us. But the company haven't asked for the item back and amazon have already approved the refund which is due in my account within the next 3days and noone seems to want this trampoline!!

WWYD?? My husband thinks we should give it to a friend or family (or maybe sell it). I feel like maybe we should send it back to the company even though they have been really obnoxious about it (or at least we should email them asking if we should send it back). We'd have to pay postage I guess if they are just ignoring my messages though.

So just wondered what others would do, don't want to screw over a small business but equally they've been really rude about the whole thing so my husband thinks they've waived the moral high ground!

Also not sure if we did decide to give /sell it on how long we should wait before doing so, in case company suddenly demand it back. Not sure if there's any law on that???

Email them and say you've received the refund, and please can they send someone to collect it within 14 days or you'll get rid of it

If they don't come within that time, do what you want with it...

I ordered a TV from John Lewis many moons ago and they sent the wrong one. After much back and forth they said the model I ordered was no longer in stock so issued a refund. No-one from JL came to collect the wrong TV despite the fact I sent several emails trying to arrange a pick up. Eventually I stopped emailing and just kept the TV. About a months later JL contacted me and said they needed to take the TV back.

Long story short, I ended up keeping it after JL offered me a 20 % discount.

I've been reading about a to Z Amazon claims and it seems Amazon sometimes pay the refund themselves, which may be why no one wants the thing back!
