70 year old dad getting remarried - gift?

I have a tendency to be impulsive or over think things so I need advice.

My dad is unexpectedly getting remarried soon. He's always been a present father figuratively but has a quite stilted relationship with my siblings and I. The way he told us of his remarriage is a joke.

Anyways if it was based on my relationship with him I wouldn't get his new wife a thing. But I don't want to tarnish her with the same brush.
I'm going to come into contact with her periodically. I come from quite a small community so I'll bump into her even if it's not with my dad.
She'll be moving in with him and my 3 grownup siblings. Now they are saying don't get anything but my siblings who don't live there are saying do.
I'm not going to give a gift with some of our names and not others. I'm thinking something simple like a small gift set or flowers and chocolates. Nothing flashy. What would you do?

I suppose my question is more. Would you get a gift or not bother? Is it odd to get a couple a gift if they're getting married so late in life and with all the baggage in our relationship with our dad?

I would get a small gift (such as a photo frame). I'm a firm believer in always behaving in a way with family members that means no-one can ever say that I didn't do the right thing (toxic or abusive family members are different - I mean those relatives you don't see very often, or the ones that forget your DC's birthdays, or arrange ridiculous child-free parties Wink)

Thank you.
