Intimidated on dog walk

Last night when I was walking my dog, I got to the top of my street and a group of about 5 young lads (I'd say between 18-22 years old) walked past along an intersecting road. They were laughing and speaking a language I don't speak so I couldn't understand what they were saying, but one of them pretended to draw a gun from his inside pocket and shoot me in the face and they all laughed. I felt a bit shaken up but haven't said anything to anyone. Would you have reported it or something else? I feel a bit stupid because it really shook me up but obviously they didn't really actually do anything wrong I guess... I just don't think it's right that people should be able to deliberately intimidate people like that (especially lone women minding their own business). I can't wait to move away from here Sad

I'd have set the dog on his ignorant arse.

Quite honestly I'd probably think 'bellend' and carry on my way. He was showing off for his mates and when you get a group of lads together like that their IQ tends to decrease in exact proportion with the size of the group. If you start seeing them hanging around regularly, or they seem to be being particularly problematic, call your local community policing team and let them know where and when the problem occurs (usual place they hang around, usual time/s you see them, explanation of what they're doing that's intimidating).

I would have muttered "twat" under my breath and carried on walking.

I would forget about it now

He was obviously playing big boy infront of his friends

Troys - around here that could easily have gotten me stabbed so I just puffed myself up and pretended I didn't care.

I know he was just acting up in front of his friends. it just shook me up a bit I guess.

That's a perfect reaction

By not reacting, they don't get their rocks off
