No worries Fraggle you know it was a one off and the kids wouldn't have known a thing, I just don't appreciate people jumping down my throat for previous posts and calling me a pearl clutcher when I was just trying to show concern in case it was a problem, obviously it's not!

What's wrong with the odd duvet day when your parents are hungover?

I remember the once or twice a year (maybe even less than that) when my parents would have a party at the house, and all of us kids would get to crowd into my bedroom and watch movies and have crisps and fizzy pop while the adults enjoyed adult beverages and got squiffy. It was always a blast!

And then in the morning getting up before DM and DF and getting to snack on the leftover party snacks from the night before, and more movies all day! I loved it. Better than getting up and running errands with DM and DF. Or being dragged around to some boring relatives house.

Nothing wrong with a hungover duvet day.

That's understandable gruffalo but it was clear in the op and certainly in her subsequent replies that this was a one off and there was no need to be concerned for the children.
