I couldn't find the chat topic :)
Life seems a big ball of misery at the moment (little irritations in my life and major things happening to people I care about) and I just want a nighr off to be silly.

I'd like wine. I'm on my own, though, so it's probably not a good idea. My head is in turmoil.

I'm taking my friend and her two little boys out for tea soon. I'm more excited than I could ever explain... They are lovely boys and she is the best friend in the world. With her kids and both our very different jobs, I don't get to see her much, but she's lovely.

The smirnoff is very tempting, though...

I want wine. What's this, 6th September? I did say I'll have a drink bank holiday weekend so surely I can manage two weeks. You might get the video on the 20th stealth !

Stealth - sorry to derail thread but please tell me more about cleaning car upholstery with boiling water & vodka. Due to 2 DCs & dog the back seats of my car look awful & nothing I have tried so far has worked. I'm intrigued.

I might as well have a clean car & no hangover! :)

Sorry the vodka was specifically to clean emulsion paint off the carpet. It did work but suspect it's limited to just that

My darling brother has pancreatic cancer. This time next year he won't be here.
