I have a lot of them in my garden, I've left parts overgrown for them and have made a great deal of effort to stop cats coming in. But no one else seems to like them, almost every friend is shit scared of these lovely things. Its such a shame they are native and at risk

gerund thank you. Very interesting. This one certainly didn't sense me, I almost shit myself stood on it.

I'm proud of my resident snake though I'd rather not experience its anal gland.

I was coming home just yesterday and looked over the garden wall to see the cat with a slow worm in its mouth. I bellowed is name (the cats, not the slow worm's) and he dropped it like he'd been electrocuted Grin
I didn't see whether it was one of the ones he'd bought in previously or not as it zipped off at a rate of knots.
