DP's sis in law and his brother lost their baby the night before last, she had a miscarriage at almost 12 weeks and she almost died, she had to have 6 blood transfusions and is very ill.

I have just found out that I'm pregnant (did a test an hour ago) 8 months after a c section so am worried about that also. We're obviously not going to announce it yet but whenever we do it will be a bad time for them ð???
I feel like I shouldn't be excited about it or can't tell anyone cos it's like rubbing it in their faces

It's absolutely the right thing to do to keep quiet for now.

I would leave it as long as possible tbh.

Obviously I know you will want to share your exciting news but given that she almost died under these circumstances I just wouldn't.

Best not to boast on FB either.

As someone who had a miscarriage I can say it will always hurt to see others enjoying what you lost, but she can't hold it against you. Give it as much time as possible and then try telling them on their own in a low key way so that they have time to take it in.

Congratulations on your pregnancy.
