There's a couple of things that freak me out. Sunflowers scare the bejesus out of me. Its like they are staring at me with a huge black eye... Also grass/flowers that grow above head height. Pampus grass makes me shudder. And when the moon is huge and orange. I can't stand to even look at it like that. It gives me the creeps

I hate Thatched houses/cottages
They are so dark and sinister. Gives me the creeps.

snorepatrol · 31/03/2016 08:56

Heards Blush

Like if I see more than three or four of any animal it makes my teeth shake so driving past a field of sheep / cows lots of cats together or a group of birds. Gives me shakey teeth just thinking about it.

iwillbemrsminty · 31/03/2016 09:00

I'm emetophobic - fear of vomiting. Yes I know.... Hmm but actually very common!

MyBreadIsEggy · 31/03/2016 09:01

White, creamy foods.
I had a meltdown in an Italian restaurant once and had to move tables because a child on the next table ordered carbonara Blush

AdmiralData · 02/04/2016 19:41

Crumpets. It's more of a tripophobia I suppose but they're so common, they're in every house and cafe ffs. Looks like a nest of bug eggs ready to evolve and come running out. I may be a tad neurotic.

jimijack · 02/04/2016 19:50

Sloths.
The slow, long nails, tiny face..... just. Makes. My. Skin. Crawl.
I cannot stand to even look at them.
Disgusting.

Also dogs. Palms sweat, feel nauseous, palpitations, pins and needles all over if I see one in the street. I cross over and don't look.
I must have been bitten as a kid, I dunno but the freak me out, big or small.

Danglyweed · 02/04/2016 19:53

My friend is terrified of baked beans

whatsonyourplate · 02/04/2016 20:08

Balloons, I'm scared of any sudden loud noise but it's the potential to pop that brings me out in a cold sweat. My DD has several weird phobias; buttons, foam, 3d letters. We went to a craft shop the other day and she stood outside because there were cut out wooden letters of various sizes (she didn't even notice the big bags of buttons).

BriteRainbowBright · 02/04/2016 20:28

My one of my DDs is button phobic. Cardigans have been banned in this house for all of us!

EnglishFern · 02/04/2016 20:52

jimijack don't go to see Zootropolis, whatever you do.

What is it with buttons? Is it the holes?

Mine is spiders, so far so normal. But it is specifically the movement. I can be as brave as anything if they're standing still, but the minute they move I'm utterly hysterical to the point of passing out.

mogloveseggs · 02/04/2016 20:56

Not great with holes.
Terrified of mannequins and waxworks Blush

Dfg15 · 03/04/2016 08:02

Ladybirds. Hate the way their top wings open and then the other wings poke out. It makes me go goose pimply even typing this.

Berkshirehunt · 30/05/2016 00:14

I have a button phobia! I hate even typing the word. I'm way better than I used to be but I would not wear anything with unnecessary 'things' on them. My old housemate was the same she would only call them fasteners. I also hate words with double 'o's in them. My partner always writes 'ooo' and it makes me cringe, and my assistant emails me with 'helloo' and I want to tell her to stop but I know it's super weird. I feel a bit better getting that out!

lucyintheskywithgin · 30/05/2016 00:40

I'm terrified of balloons. Everything about them, in whatever state. I'm ok with the foil ones until they start moving independently. Confused

notgivingin789 · 30/05/2016 00:41

I have a fear of holes. Bubbles I can cope with. But patterns of holes make me want to itch.

dodobookends · 30/05/2016 00:43

Those really long weirdly-shaped shoes that clowns wear

TwoLittleBlooms · 30/05/2016 01:04

Birds (especially pigeons for sone reason), butterflies and moths and cracking eggs - I may have been known once or twice to get my husband to crack the eggs so I can bake Blush

MrsSchadenfreude · 30/05/2016 01:24

Buttons. Particularly large ones. And open staircases.

MrsSchadenfreude · 30/05/2016 01:25

As a child, being given my Gran's button jar to play with used to turn me into a screaming, hysterical mess.

kittykat8545 · 02/06/2016 13:52

Baloons, duh. Anytime I get close to one I get this feeling it's going to explode and I'm going to die Grin Also I'm scared of EVERY thing that can make a sudden loud sound, including my mom sometimes.

littlesquish · 21/08/2018 20:58

Ankles, knees and eyeballs.

Mumshotel · 25/08/2018 19:02

Ladybirds
