Have boots ripped me off?

Bought boots own brand nappies size 2 in a hurry on way to hospital appointment. 33 nappies cost £6.49! My husband paid for them and it was only later I thought this was a bit much! I called into my local branch the following morning to query the price and was told flatly that's how much they cost after scanning packaging. I pointed out to the sales assistant that a large pack of the same nappies over on shelf cost 3.99? Very puzzling. Lady suggested I ring customer services which I did and was asked to send receipt and packaging to customer care as must be a mistake. Received letter saying unfortunately that is the price of those nappies. No explanation no nothing? Do I pursue this or accept I've been had? Shock

m.boots.com/h5/cat_hub
Website shows 44 nappies cost £3.19 so yes they have ripped you off.

What range are they? Nappies often differ in price if they are from the newborn range or the active fit range for example.

The active stretch nappies are £6.49 but Id doubt they'd do them in a size 2 Confused

Thanks soontobesix. I did mention when I rang customer services that I had also looked up the price online but he said Internet and in store prices can be different. I did however see large packets in store for half the price I paid. There is a number to call on the letter if I want to so may try that.

Nappies are priced bizarrely, the fact that a larger pack might be cheaper is irrelevant.
Check prices before you buy!
