A place for Cumberbatch fans to band together whilst waiting for DorkyBatch to return.

I didn't go to sherlocked today.

God the photos are rubbish. Totally blank like he looks like he really wants to be there but it still looked good fun

SciFiFan · 25/04/2015 22:57

Here you go Needsa this should work Bessie Letters

SciFiFan · 25/04/2015 22:59

Had you planned on going HRH? Agree re the photos. I think there was a one in twenty chance of getting one where he's smiling.

He seems more animated in the Q&A photos.

SciFiFan · 25/04/2015 23:00

It's getting bad though if that is the level of photos we post from a Sherlock convention!!! Sad

Sudename · 26/04/2015 12:15

Ya he looks very meh in them. I suppose the reality of fatherhood is kicking in now too and its been such a busy year: marriage, baby, Oscars and awards shows, Richard 111, Sherlock special, live letters etc

HRHsherlockssextoy · 26/04/2015 14:49

I haven't seen the Q&a thing yet.

I wasn't meant to go. I couldn't afford to go after buying hamlet tickets, I thought it was a bit of a con.

I think you could hardly say you met him though. Rupert Graves looked tasty :)

The aus con last year looked so nice and even the one he did in brum in feb was great.

When is this baby coming?

CaveMum · 26/04/2015 15:23

Yes photos are a bit bland, but maybe organisers are being tight on photos so that people buy their merchandise.

Baby must be due any day now.

Sudename · 26/04/2015 15:27

I read an article about the Beckett Happy Days festival in which Sophie is directing some Britten piece in late July early August and it said she would be directing two months after she gives birth so that would be late May as due date. Also they are on the guest list for next weekends Met Gala Ball so be interesting to see if they attend

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 30/04/2015 15:34

This just makes me sad...(and happy I didn't shell out the megabucks to go to the convention).

I know I shouldn't read anything into it, but... Sad

Sad is right Needsagreen
However he was quite chipper at the Adobe Summit talk this morning and the Met Ball is this weekend. Do you think they'll go?

Pooseyfrumpture · 30/04/2015 16:04

How can she at 11 months pregnant?

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 30/04/2015 18:10

LOL, Poosey!!

I somehow think she won't go; even if she hasn't popped yet, she must be over the 36 week threshhold, no matter whose timeline you're using. And maybe Karon will force him to "nest".

Pooseyfrumpture · 30/04/2015 18:33

I'm attempting to watch the Adobe summit. It is BORING. I never thought I would say that Shock

I think I'm cured Hmm

Sudename · 02/05/2015 15:01

Now that the royal baby has arrived we are on Cumberbaby watch Wink

CaveMum · 03/05/2015 19:13

Name predictions then? I'm thinking they'll stay traditional and classic.

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 03/05/2015 21:26

I'm betting on a combination of a classic and an artsy-fartsy name. Classic being Benedict's vote and woo-woo from Sophie. Sorry, despite the "cooling-off" period following the Oscars and honeymoon, still not a fan.

OP posts:
Sudename · 03/05/2015 22:31

If a boy a nod to both grandads; maybe Timothy Charles. If a girl something classic with an artsy farty twist

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 09/05/2015 16:32

Scroll down to no. 20 to see a picture of Benedict's baby...

He's not attending Baftas tomorrow night - wonder if baby has arrived and they're keeping it quiet for a while

Pooseyfrumpture · 09/05/2015 16:41

Judging by the Palace bump, it's almost ready to start school Wink

Sudename · 09/05/2015 17:22

Word on the street is its twins lol

Pooseyfrumpture · 10/05/2015 11:33

I thought it was octuplets? Grin

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 11/05/2015 08:35

Not enough silicone in Sophie's lips to rival OctoMom!
