So you KNOW in the title it is tittle tattle and its from the Daily mail - you don't need to point that out

It looks like his parents have stayed loyal to his first wife and are not so keen he has abandoned her and their kids to jaunt with Geri - hardly known for sticking with partners.

No matter how much I disapproved of my son's relationship choices, I wouldn't be discussing them with the Sunday Mirror.

Agreed - if they have declared they won't attend the wedding (see above caveats on the fact there are no named sources for the story, in other words someone in the Daily Mail office made the quotes up) that seems unnecessarily side-taking. It makes no bloody odds to the baby and I guess the ex has to come to terms with the fact he's moved on - if in fact she wasn't the one who instigated the split, who can say.

On a side note, I feel very sorry for the parents of an ex-colleague of mine. He is on wife number 3 and he's not even yet 40. Each time he has left the previous wife for someone in the office and then married her. What the hell must they have been thinking during wedding number 3??

I guess if CH has split from his partner for someone he met in a pub it wouldn't be as newsworthy. For his parents I would imagine it's who GH is that makes it all worse.

I think his parents sound like they don't want to hurt their DIL more than she has already been hurt. Geri will be fine whether they go to her wedding or not so I can understand their decision.

Yy trills, I agree with that. I think you'd have to be completely consumed by red mist to not see that decision as anything other than a bad one. Assuming any of its true.
