School were found to have committed several acts of discrimination against a disabled child (the child is no longer there obviously). They have been ordered to apologise to the child for the distress caused by their actions but have not done so. Would you bother to contact the school giving them a few days to apologise before taking further action or not?

So as not to drip feed the Governing Body have already behaved quite badly including making threats following the original complaint and blaming the child for certain events. They have never apologised for any wrongdoing previously.

I wouldn't contact them. If give them a week or two (depending on the nature of the situation) and if no apology had been relieved, if contact the governing body.

Schools aren't back yet..... I'd give them a chance to send the apology

Juno - what would the Governing Body do if they have already ignored a court order? How many chances would you give them?

Well, presumably the governing body have ordered the school to apologise.
