Hope this meets with your approval. It was getting a bit full on the other thread so we've extended and now need to decorate the new space.

For the walls.

Oooo, arse pics?

Hmm I've been rumbled: just asked DH if he'd like to see the new Star Trek pictures (big fan). He looks at them, turns to me and says: "I love the irony."

Me: "Eh?"

Him: "I know how much you hate Star Trek, but now you've got to see it because BC is in it!"

Me: "Splutter!"

Him: "Ha, ha, ha!"

Oops Blush

LetUsPrey · 25/02/2012 09:33

Oh no CaveMum - busted!

I won't have any problems with Star Trek and should be okay with TTSS when that's on Sky. The Hobbit might be a problem but I have time to do some groundwork.

I have the house to myself so I'm going to watch HIGABMNFY.

Laterz.

DP knows all about my fixation with BC at the moment - I'm far too lazy to bother covering it up! He calls it 'leering over Cumberporn'. Hmm

On the other hand, he's also reaping the benefits of, shall we say, an increased appetite in 'dinner', so not complaining too much. Our last weekend without the kids, he quite happily went along with a BC-themed day - cinema 'date' seeing War Horse, dinner for two, home in time for HIGABMNFY, which he enjoyed and laughed at. He drew the line at watching Atonement on dvd, but quite happily watched Star Trek1 with me recently and said it was good. He's been far more attentive of late... Grin

Prey - I love that line!

DesperateHousewife21 · 25/02/2012 11:15

Lol at the intricate plans to see BC films without arousing suspicion out of the DHs.
I really don't know how I'll do it, by the time the film comes out I'll (hopefully) have a 6 month old baby so as long as a kind family member looks after our 2 dcs then I'll go to the cinema.

DH hasnt rumbled me yet but I do keep talking about Sherlock. He's not v good at detection though I'd have to literally put a poster of BC on the wall for him to notice.

Fluffymonster · 25/02/2012 12:07

Lucky people who have BBC1 HD:

Sherlock Series 2 is being shown again starting 9pm tonight!

Fluffymonster · 25/02/2012 12:15

How odd...no mention of 'Hound of the Baskervilles' ep, just 'Scandal' tonight and 'Reichenbach' next Sat. They're my personal favourites - but why just miss one out? Anyway...I can't watch any as don't have BBC1 HD. Booooo!

LetUsPrey · 25/02/2012 12:21

No doubt I'll be flicking through the channels tonight and will "accidentally" happen upon Sherlock on BBC HD.

Saltire · 25/02/2012 12:34

Hmm, well do I watch that , or sky + for one night through the week and watch TTSP (without the bloody DH seeing as he took my sherlock dvds with him) tonight

Fluffymonster · 25/02/2012 12:37

I keep going back to exexpat's link of the cumberbum. Must. Get. On. With. Day...

TheAddict · 25/02/2012 13:40

New here (but I have been a fan of the divine Mr C for some considerable time) - anyway, in case anyone hasn't noticed, he is in two radio adaptations of 'Rumpole of The Bailey' this week on Radio 4 - on Thursday 1 March and Friday 2 March (both at 2.15)

LetUsPrey · 25/02/2012 14:12

Welcome TheAddict. Rumpole'll be on iPlayer by the following Sunday won't it? That's next weekend's ironing accompaniment taken care of.

This may or may not work but BC needs votes in this poll. If it doesn't work, it's from Sherlockology on Twitter.

OP posts:
DesperateHousewife21 · 25/02/2012 15:21

Ive voted but he's not winning atm :(

Saltire · 25/02/2012 16:19

Am I missing something, just checked BBC HD and it says National lottery at 8.30 and Casualty at 9.20pm??

LetUsPrey · 25/02/2012 16:31

Is that not BBC1 HD on Sky channel 143? You want BBC HD on Sky channel 169.

CaveMum · 25/02/2012 20:00

If you scroll down the page to "Day 3", you'll see another pic of BC in his Spencer Hart suit

Grin
Saltire · 25/02/2012 20:08

letuspray ah right I didn't know there was BBC1 HD and bBC HD!

Fluffymonster · 25/02/2012 20:23

I've voted in that poll! Sherlock is less than 3% behind 'Bones' atm. I don't think Sherlock will win because Zap2it looks like it's a US TV listings site, and therefore David Boreanaz/'Bones' will have a much, much wider audience, higher profile, AND it's been around longer etc. BC/Sherlock has done amazingly well to even come remotely close!

LetUsPrey · 25/02/2012 21:00

Saltire - see you've learnt something new because of BC.

I'd like BC to teach me lots of new things.

I'd be up for teaching BC some new things too.

Fluffymonster · 25/02/2012 21:42

Ho hum.

[Twiddles thumbs thinking of all those people enjoying 'Scandal In Belgravia right now.]

Since I'm BBC1 HD-less, am comforting myself with re-watching .

"My names Benedict Cumberbatch, and I'm going to take you back in time..."

LetUsPrey · 25/02/2012 22:00

Watching Sherlock (sorry Fluffy) with DH. Sadly missed the sheet bit but he's about to go all fighty with those bad men who hurt Mrs Hudson.

Phwoar. Grin

DesperateHousewife21 · 25/02/2012 22:12

I'm being made to watch Jonathan Ross Hmm

I think I'll get sherlock series 2 on DVD

Oooh BC in that sheet

Saltire · 25/02/2012 22:25
