I think that you may have been misunderstood or have perhaps misunderstood what MN is about.

We do have men posting here, but generally they keep to the boards and chatter away, without us even knowing they are men in some cases. Although most tend to make it clear and are open about their sex.

It is slightly unusual to pm other posters (as you may have surmised) and this may have made some posters wary about your intentions.

Tbh, you may be better looking for a forum where the psoters have more in common with you. Sorry.
