Well, it's about time.

Now all we need are furnishings and decorations...Wink

Flipping Allan, spoiling the view...

I must admit, Massive, I rather prefer Lady D's close up.

Mr S has the boys round for cards so the smell of kebabs and chips is wafting through the house and all I can find to nibble is a bloody sherbet dip left over from Halloween.

TheSmallPrint · 26/11/2011 22:20

The first two Spiro? Oh my yes! The third? Meh, not so much.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/11/2011 22:20

A sherbet dip? Bliss!

SupermassiveLBD · 26/11/2011 22:24

Won't they give you a chip, Spiro?

I am not going to go into detail about why i like that pic, though it isn't particularly rood. Believe it or not

DumSpiroSpero · 26/11/2011 22:24

It's not bad actually Maud - it's a spooky dip with three different flavoured dips, although I usually go for the traditional lemon sherbet & boiled sweet type lolly.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/11/2011 22:26

I am now craving a proper sherbet dip. With lolly.

Small - I quite agree. Shrink-wrapping is not a good look for the Christmas turkey or anything else.

SupermassiveLBD · 26/11/2011 22:28

Don't they do the licorice stick straw with them now, Spiro? Shock

LadyD's close-up is tres gentil but this time it's Vaisey spoiling the view.

DumSpiroSpero · 26/11/2011 22:29

Oh, go on Massive - tell us...Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/11/2011 22:30

You're thinking of a sherbet fountain, Massive.

DumSpiroSpero · 26/11/2011 22:32

That's sherbet fountains and they have now replaced the liquorice straw with a plastic one - Philistines.

I'm on one of these (Miss Spiro's sherbet of choice

My preference is the more traditional sherbet dipdab

SupermassiveLBD · 26/11/2011 22:32
Wink
SupermassiveLBD · 26/11/2011 22:35

Plastic straws? What is the world coming to?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/11/2011 22:35

Spooky synchronicity once again! There are no sweets in the house.

::chews carpet::

PassTheTwiglets · 26/11/2011 22:39

Those Spoky dips are the ones I love - but what were they called originally (ie. not the Halloween version?) The dipping stick is goooooorgeous in those ones.

Anyway, stop talking about sweets. #diet

SupermassiveLBD · 26/11/2011 22:40

No sweets here either. I have just had to resort to a rice cake.

DumSpiroSpero · 26/11/2011 22:41

Plastic straws are v.wrong!

I have to admit the synchronicity going on here of late is really quite something...

LadyDamerel · 26/11/2011 22:41

::yanks Maud away from the carpet::

There's enough worn patches in hay Aubusson without you chewing any more in it, young lady.

Mmmm, Sherbet Dip Dab - I love the instant sugar hit you get from those.

DumSpiroSpero · 26/11/2011 22:42

Yes Twigs the dipstick is much nicer than the regular one which is presumably why I ate it first without thinking and had to 'chug' the remaining sherbet

They were Double Dips I think.

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 26/11/2011 22:44

A rice cake?

I am sure rice cakes could actually be sued under the trade descriptions act as they are the least cake-like substance on the planet. AND they don't go hard when they are stale, which is, of course, the ultimate test of what actually constitutes a cake.

Put some jam on the next one - at least then you get a small sugar hit and it will taste of something too.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/11/2011 22:45

But then, I did have a Lamington tonight.

#possiblythebestcakeofalltime

LadyDamerel · 26/11/2011 22:45

Double dips indeed.

LadyDamerel · 26/11/2011 22:46

What's a Lamington?

DumSpiroSpero · 26/11/2011 22:47

Marmite rice cakes with hummous...yum!

I am really more of a savoury than sweet-toothed person (although the sherbet and last night's Matchmakers might beg to differ).
