Have I been rejected?

Hope someone can shed some light on what happened to my application.

Last month I applied to join the Mumsnet Bloggers Network but did not receive a confirmation email or any emails at all. I waited a few weeks and then submitted my application again. On July 11th I received email confirmation that they had received my application. However I have not heard anything since.

Does this mean I've been rejected? Is it 'normal' for applications to take over 3 weeks to process? What would cause a blog to be rejected?

Hi everyone, just thought I'd add my experience here. I registered my blog on 20th July and am still waiting for it to be processed. I've had a few nice emails about it and there doesn't seem to be a problem with my blog, but there must be a processing problem, as the people who email keep asking for my patience and the last one started with "Yikes"... usually a sign that there's a bit of a spanner in the works! We're finally reaching the end of the backlog, which is codenamed 'Yikes' . The only hitch has been the sheer volume of great blogs, which is hardly a problem! We've been trying to get back to everyone about their blogs, which has caused a short delay in adding all the new members to the site. But I'm taking care of all the newbies today. Dare I say it: thanks for your patience!

We want to welcome and promote as many bloggers as poss. A few won't make sense given our editorial guidelines, but we'll be sure to let everyone know about their application. And we're keen to check out all blogs that come our way.

Hi there, So sorry about the delay. I know it's frustrating. If you haven't already, could you send us a quick email pointing out which one it is so we can put your mind at rest? We'll keep an eye out for it.

I think I must have done something wrong with my application, because I've not yet received an email, and I've applied twice! Before the second one, I read the guidelines, and removed the profanity warning, but still no email - feeling rather rejected and :( ! :o
