Evening, chaps. Well it seems that I should probably stop whining about my books then because you all seem to have it worse than me! Mine are at least all stored on bookshelves - except for the huge crate in the eaves cupboard, storing our beloved collection of Venice books (they are waiting for our living room to be decorated so they can have a nice home).
It's hard to describe what I read really as it's so varied (thoguh I do'nt really do chick lit). At the moment the books I have on the go are The Hobbit, one of Sherlock Holmes stories, The Convenient Marriage, a diet book, a parenting book, A Concise History of England, a Mary Poppins book and North & South but I keep getting stuck on that.
As for DD's reading, she used to be a champion reader but she just has way too much PC/DS/Gamecube time these days to be as interested. This is something I plan to tackle this week actually.
Not sure if I said this earlier but, Spiro, did you know that 'Daisy Meadows' isn't one person? They're written by a team of people under that name. I was so surprised. Wooft does it take a team of people to write them? I mean it can't take more than twenty minutes per book, surely? I'm sure it's the same text for each and they just replace the word "snow" for "jewel" etc.
