Spiro what on earth are you doing on here at that time? I take it you had a bad night with DD?

PassTheTwiglets · 13/04/2011 08:23

Spiro, yikes, 4.20am? How are you & DD this morning?

Stop thinking about the floppy black shirt hanging loosely around that gorgeous throat, just waiting to be kissed. HTH.

LOL, Small! :)

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 08:34

Morning Twigs Smile, pastry for you?

What are you up to today?

PassTheTwiglets · 13/04/2011 08:42

Ooh, yes please Ta.

Today is a gym session for both kids - my mum is hopefully meeting me there, to help (DS needs constant supervision there but DD wants constant attention, which isn't a great combination!) Then I'm planning to shove them in the garden all afternoon with mum to look after them whilst I listen to the last few tracks of The Convenient Marriage get on with housework.

How are you coping with the Smallboys on holiday - are you still working or have you taken some time off?

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 13/04/2011 08:44

I was up with DD from 2.45 for a couple of hours - tummy bug although she seems better this morning. I feel like you-know-what!

Ta Small - wish those were real Smile!

PassTheTwiglets · 13/04/2011 08:46

Oh and for Spiro, when she is awake - I was thinking about the problem of booking those £1 hotels but not knowing the date... we could always book one for the 29th anyway (though the website says it's extremely difficult to get one as they sell out in minutes) and then if it turns out that we meet on a different date then we've only lost £1. The sale starts tomorrow at noon so I might try and book one for the 29th just in case.

I'll have a dig around and see if I can find some definite dates...

PassTheTwiglets · 13/04/2011 08:49

Oh poor Miss Spiro - and poor you having to deal with it! Hope you don't catch it. I bet you are exhausted now! :(

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 13/04/2011 08:57

I'm hoping I don't catch it too. DD is v. rarely sick so was quite freaked out by it all (and it was all a bit Dr Who as she'd had kiwi fruit yesterday - bleurrrgh)

CA opens in the UK on 29th so we'll definitely be able to see the film. Did you want to try & find out when the actual premiere is instead then, Twigs?

PassTheTwiglets · 13/04/2011 09:11

No, the film is good for me, Spiro. I didn't realise that the 29th was the film opening, I thought it was the premiere (sorry, was getting all confused!) Would've been fun to do a bit of red carpet stalkage but not really worth the train fare to London, not to mention all the queuing/waiting, if we don't even get to see the film. Besides, my little obsession could probably do without adding more fuel to the fire :)

Oh pants, have just realised I'm out all day tomorrow. Will have to see if I can get DH to book a room for me.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 09:24

Morning Spiro, poor DD, hope you are all feeling better today, can you catch up on any sleep later? Love the Dr Who comparison!

DumSpiroSpero · 13/04/2011 09:25

Well, I think I'd feel a bit Blush about the stalkage, much as I'd like to see him in RL. Would probably be a bit obvious, us standing there in the midst of a bunch of adolescent comic book geeks! Of course there's no guarantee he'd even be there anyway - it's not compulsory after all and he's not exactly a lover of the limelight is he?

Your best bet is to (or get DH to) register and suss out the way the site works beforehand which will make it quicker tomorrow!

PassTheTwiglets · 13/04/2011 09:29

I was trying to work out how to register but can't see how to register without actually making a booking.

Hi Small. Fortunately this is one of the few school holiday weeks where I've planned next to nothing so will be having (another) lazy day.
Am desperate to get some probiotic down DD but she won't eat yogurt with lumps in so I have said I will sieve the bloody thing! H has just looked at me as if I'm totally insane & made a very rude noise in response - is it that PFB?

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 09:32

Right, I'm worried Maud has been taken hostage by the people in the tv shop after storming it in an attempt to finally get her bloomin tele. It's time to send in the special forces.

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 09:33

what about one of those little drink things Spiro?

PassTheTwiglets · 13/04/2011 09:39

Is dairy the best thing for an upset stomach anyway though? Or what about the BRAT diet? Not that I've ever done it - we just tend to do nothing at all, followed by dry crackers until they feel like eating again. How rotten fot you both - and I can remember mine being freaked out by it, poor little things :(

Do you feel back to normal now, Small? Well, normal for you, that is... :o
Btw, I'd be more than happy to lend you my audiobooks if you wanted... (it was you who siad you couldn't get them, wasn't it?)

Off to the (kiddie) gym....

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 09:44

Shock how rooode! Grin

I'm alright, the sicky thing seemed like a 24 hr thing Mr Small had it too. My foot is getting better, still sore but no where near as bad as it has been.

Ooh yes to a load of audio book, that would be brill. Smile

DumSpiroSpero · 13/04/2011 10:36

Bloomin' phone went down! I know probiotic yoghurts have helped before so I tend to try and shove one down her if she gets an iffy tum. Will soon see if works - all seems ok so far.

What's the BRAT diet?!

SupermassiveLBD · 13/04/2011 10:53

Quick post and run to say hi all. I shall probably be busy most of the day, but will be here this evening.

I hope everyone's day goes well, poorly people on the mend and non-poorly people blooming. And DCs quiet and biddable and totally endearing.

Urgghh...

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 14:15

Afternoon! Right this is for everyone who is feeling a bit worse for wear. I am sure will pick you right up!. Wink

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 14:35

Maud, if you ever get released from yuor captors - and John I am putting my trust in you on this one - I finally went back to vid and can tell you that he says 'alright chicken' at the end.

SupermassiveLBD · 13/04/2011 14:45

Small, just what I needed! I am not poorly but having a little too much of RL to deal with. Thanks. Lots of lovely Gizzy bits, and the rest is pretty nice, too.

I found a sneaky way to play it too, though I did download it to the PC earlier. I really should delete it though, you never know, do you?

Oh, yes, I forgot!

PassTheTwiglets · 13/04/2011 14:45

BRAT is for introducing solids after dodgy stomachs. Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast.

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 13/04/2011 14:46

DD wouldn't touch a banana if you paid her, so I guess that won't work here! She seems much better now. Kept down toast and yoghurt this morning and has just had a light lunch so fingers crossed.

I am knackered!

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 14:48

Pleasure Massive. I was just thinking I hadn't seen it for at least a day for a long time.

I thought BRAT food was horrible things like boilde potatoes and brocolli that you give to your children when they are being naughty. Wink
