Just to let you all know that the dcs really enjoyed their emergency frozen birds eye chicken dippers and frozen peas while I've been engrossed in this. The ingredients for the hearty homemade soup I'd planned are still on the worktop. Am seriously considering NOT going out tonight for fear of missing more revelations. Thanks all!
