Hi, my baby is due in Jan next year and I have a lot of questions!! I live with my husband in a 2 bed flat with bad heating and old appliances. My biggest issue is that my washing machine has not tumble dryer (it only wash I had to hang the clothes to them to get dry)... now how I am going to manage our clothes with no sun, during the winnter time? The heating in this flat is really not good... someone could give me a help with some sort of solution??? All my friends who have babies say they have to wash a lot of clothes... I am worried I will have a house full of wet clothes...
many thanks
Paula

I think you can get a clotheshorse that you can plug into the mains & it's heated - like a heated towel rail I suppose. Apparently costs the same as having a light bulb switched on. Personally I also live in a 2 bed flat with a toddler & I just hang things up on the clotheshorse/radiators...

you'll be fine paulinha!

when i had my first baby i was in a flat with no garden, no heating at all(!) and no tumble drier AND I was using cloth nappies so extra washing

in the winter we used a couple of oil filled radiators and stood the clothes airers near them. but i never was overwhelmed with washing tbh

I should start my own thread:

"WWYD? Small 2-Bed flat and 3 DC..."

You'll be fine Smile
