Icicle Christmas lights

Does anyone have icicle Christmas lights? I’m thinking of getting them to decorate the outside of our house this Christmas. But I’ve heard they get tangled up in the wind. It would be good to hear whether you would recommend them or not. Thanks.

I have them on my house- never had any problems with the wind.
Make me so happy as I approach the house- hate when they have to go!!

Thanks! I love the idea of them. Where did you get yours from?

Look up meteor lights - they’re similar but a bit different and very pretty!

We have them , we do suffer from wind damage, we've lost a couple of strands over the years, that comes with our house facing North .

We not had any problems with tangling in the wind but sometimes they get blown up and over the gutter but only if it’s really windy.
Not a problem to pull them back down though as we can reach from bedroom windows to straighten them out.

Thanks for the feedback. Our house is north facing and gets a lot of wind (not a euphemism!) so might not be the best for us. I will try and get some new clips so the lights can be secured nearer the bottom of the eaves. Here’s a photo to show the challenges we had last year! I think this year we will just put the lights across the front left and above the middle window, the other side is too high to reach!
