Good morning, I hoping someone can help. I had my assessment on the 11th February. The assessment recommended me 8 points for daily living and 12 points for mobility how likely is it that the decision maker will change it.

I suffer from type 1 diabetes, hypoglycemias often, severe hypo mobility affecting my feet, hips and knees, anxiety, endometriosis and CFS and hypertension. Thank you

Very unlikely. They usually take the reports on face value.

From experience with a relative of mine. The points have always stayed the same as scored.

Thank you so much I’m worrying so much.

That’s quite a good outcome isn’t it? Why do you think it should be different?

It is likely that you would get what has been recommended, I would have thought. Why are you worrying?

Gemtwins · 02/03/2025 17:21

Because I used to get pip then they removed my points at the review. It’s very stressful

I see. Hopefully you will receive a letter from them soon, at least you will know then, and can challenge it, if necessary.

It is very unusual for a decision maker to disagree with the health professional. I saw a figure recently that decision makers agree with the health professional in 95% of cases.

Thank you so much, I appreciate your replies
