No doubt I'd get a load of shade about 'bragging' but that's not the intention. If anyone is interested in asking any questions about travelling regularly with a little own, feel free to ask.

I often travel just the two of us as his Dad can't get as much time off work as I do.

I love all the posters moaning about air pollution caused by flying yet China produces 30% of global emissions, and it has nothing to do with flying. They produce 14 bn tons of CO2 vs the whole EU (27 countries) which produce 3.5bn combined. Give it a rest. We all won't stop flying etc to reduce carbon footprint, while China produces cheap plastic relying on fossil fuels and not giving a shit 🤷‍♀️ Maybe stop buying temu stuff to do your bit ?

I can't stop China producing that carbon, but I do what I CAN. It IS in my power to fly less/stop flying and also reduce/boycott Chinese made products.
It's important to focus on the small difference each person can make, not just give up/use others as an excuse to change nothing about your own life. If you can't be a vegan, could you have kne day a week with no meat? Etc. Etc. These things do add up, actually.
And it's OK to say that flying that much is too much, we have a global climate emergency and we all need to fly less.

Thats not the latest thinking. We have an aging western population but a growing global population which will be able to inhabit less of the world and will be more vulnerable to disaster.

You are referring to a growing racism and opposition to concerns about cultural change and the effect of migration.

Thats not a problem with the actual population numbers on a global scale. We have more than enough people being born. Its just that they are 'the wrong type of person from the wrong place'.

Migration won’t solve everything though. There have been countless articles saying this isn’t the issue.

We can all do little bits. We don’t all have to do the same things.

I’m happy to do my bit by flying less than the OP ;)

No because I often pay to offset the flights. Most airlines allow this option now. And whether we're on the flight or not, that flight will still take off so we might as well be onboard.

Muddled thinking; if there was less demand, ie fewer passengers, there would be fewer flights, therefore less pollution.

no wonder your DH isn’t joining you for many of these holidays

He earns half what you do AND has 3 children from a previously relationship that he is (hopefully) paying maintenance for

Probs cos she only spends a day in each place at most so that they can be ticked off whatever list exists

What amazing experiences for you and your DC! Love this. I’m taking my 5 month old to Spain next week, any tips for traveling with a younger baby that I may not have thought of?
Also possibly planning on going away when she is around 12 months, where would you recommend for this age? And hotel or airbnb?
