My experience is purely from a commercial perspective, so I won’t be able to answer everything, especially if it’s treatment dependent.

Do you think all these fillers & Botox are harmful?

Do you think they look natural if people continue with these treatments for years?

Do you have these types of treatments?

Arizoomie · 06/05/2024 23:13

I’m sorry, I can’t answer about the toxicity of the treatments themselves because I am not a medical practitioner.

I think decent and skilled practitioners can provide good results for any age, but the bad results are more noticeable. I generally notice treatments but it’s because I am quite used to it now.

I haven’t had these treatments myself but many workplaces encourage usage via reimbursement.

What’s the youngest client you have had

Mayflower282 · 06/05/2024 23:15

Do you think the industry should be more regulated?

EggcornAcorn · 06/05/2024 23:16

So what do you do if not a medical practitioner (injection-er?) sorry for the thick question.

toomanysausages · 06/05/2024 23:18

Do you think botox or filler makes more of a difference?

Goldpigger · 06/05/2024 23:19

So what aesthetic treatments do you offer then if you aren't a medical practitioner?

Arizoomie · 06/05/2024 23:22

I have worked for several companies that manufacture and sell the products, so I am familiar with the industry. I have never injected anyone, nor would I want to.
And I wholeheartedly believe that the industry should be regulated more - it is far too relaxed in the U.K. compared to other markets.

Still none the wiser as to what you do, sorry.

LadyGAgain · 06/05/2024 23:24

Is there robust evidence surrounding the use of the laser machines that claim to reduce wrinkles, get rid of dark pigments etc and also those light face masks?

It’s dependent on your need really. A good injector will assess your need carefully before suggesting any treatment.

I don’t know about those ones, sorry!

I work with the practitioners who are buying and using the products, but I do not engage in the treatment process.

Can you tell us more about workplaces encouraging it? That sounds a bit concerning!

Elephantsarenottheonlyfruit · 06/05/2024 23:37

Are you in sales ie selling the products to the practitioners?

Arizoomie · 06/05/2024 23:51

Yes I’m on the sales side and I try to stay to stay as connected as possible.

There is definitely a feeling of encouragement and normalisation in the workplace, but I can honestly say that I have never experienced or witnessed any pressure in this regard.
