@Star05 met my first two last week! They were lovely - good with other dogs, affectionate, well-trained.

I've had no experience with them otherwise, but they definitely left a good impression!

@userxx they're amazing dogs.

I'd have to personally say the flat-faced breeds (pugs, French bulldogs) purely because of the respiratory issues with them.

Temperament wise I'm not often keen on Jack Russells or labradoodles/cockerpoos/newfiepoos (any poodle cross that there seems to be an abundance of now! Grin) but of course this is no personal offence to anyone because there is some that I've met and absolutely loved, just going from a general perspective/average of the many I meet!

Newfiepoo ?! I don't even want to ask 🙈

I've got a greyhound, she is a rescue from southern Ireland and is the most amazing dog ever. She suffered a really bad attack earlier this year by an American bulldog puppy, it caused a lot of suffering and she's now nervous. The puppy owners left the scene and we had a huge vets bill.

So my question is will she always be nervous? I think she will.

Do you like bearded collies? I have a chance at a pup. My friend had a show one, was very placid. I hear most of them are hyper though which puts me off!

I love that one of your favourite breeds is the greyhound.

Do you walk many, and have you looked after one that chatters?

Why does my my Labrador feel the need to drop his entire summer coat on my floor before growing his winter coat 😩? Surely it would be more efficient to add to to hair he already has!

Can you give my DD a job from next summer when she leaves college having done Animal care? (Only semi joking, she's like to work in a kennels or similar.)

Is there any dog breed you've never met but wish you could?

I saw a bloodhound once and got ridiculously excited. I really wantedto go and say hello but there was literally a queue Grin

Would you recommend an English setter as a first dog?
