Is there a good way to explain to you that even though I'm the patient, I do know what I'm talking about?

I'm never quite sure what to do when the receptionist refuses to believe me - things like telling me I was "too old" to get my MMR, when there's no age limit on the NHS (you just need to have missed a dose), or insisting that it was impossible for me to get a longer prescription, 24 hours after I'd agreed exactly that with their manager (there was a medical reason for it), and that that conversation couldn't have happened.

I'm generally pretty well informed, and not given to making things up without checking the facts, but somehow that doesn't come across the reception desk? Why would they think I was lying?

@Sunnydays999
This might have been asked already.p but didn’t want to read 12 pages 🤣
How much of someone’s medical records can you see? As much as a GP?
