I work for a lot of very high profile and famous names in the media, business, politics. It recently occurred to me how random it is that I fell into this work..every time I put on the tv I nearly always see a client! AMA!

Hmmm. That’s unusual. Lawyers usually differentiate themselves Ie solicitor or barrister, and they also state their area of law, Ie family, criminal etc..

What sort of work do you do for your clients? Do you work with their agents, draftIng contracts etc? Do you also do work which relates to the media, your clients’ privacy, injunctions etc.

@Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese

Have you ever had to represent someone that you really didn't want to?
Yes...many times! Usually though lower profile celebs or outdated celebs whose career has taken a plunge. They are generally dissatisfied and fed up.

@AgnesNaismith

Do you think the Johnny Depp v The Sun outcome was the right one? Do you think he’ll successfully appeal?
Yes I think it was right. I don’t think an appeal will be successful.

Work with a lot of agents, yes. Can go a long time not actually speaking directly with a client!

Do contentious work - sometimes will look over a contact etc but that will be as a freebie or add on to a larger case.

"How do you square posting on this forum with your ethical responsibilities to your clients?"
Not sure it’s relevant? I’m not about to disclose anything I shouldn’t.
Oh, I wasn't referring to an actual rule book. Let me rephrase:
Do you think your clients would be happy with you discussing them and their business behind their back, on an Internet forum, even if specifically identifying details are removed)?
I'd personally expect higher standards from my legal advisers.
